SPEAKER:  HARLON “SKIP” KREPCIK, CMS

        Skip has worked in various capacities at Trane and Carrier including project engineer, territory manager and project manager for large commercial, industrial and institutional projects. He designed the HVACR system for the new Trane building in Chesapeake VA which was the first Trane building to earn the Energy Star award. He is now Assoc. Professor and Program Head, HVAC/R Business, Public Service and Technologies at Tide Water Community College. He is active in RSES and ASHRA.  His career spans over 40 years with experience in residential, commercial, institutional and industrial systems. He wrote the new RSES Heat Pump Course and questions for the RSES Heat Pump CMS exam. He is ACCA certified instructor for residential and commercial applications and design. He holds all 8 CMS as well as Past RSES International President, the RSES Wayburn Wilson Award, RSES Imperial Award, RSES Member of the Year 2003, Region 4 Educator of the Year 2002, and Virginia State Association Walter E.
