NATE CEH 1
The RSES Member Webinar series continues with an exploration into assisting service technicians in determining the integrity of natural gas, propane and oil-fired forced air furnaces.
Students will become familiar with the many techniques, both good and bad, for determining failures in heat exchangers. The only accepted American Gas Association (AGA) procedure to checking the integrity of a heat exchanger will also be covered.
Your presenter, Marcus Metoyer Jr., MS, CMS, is a full time faculty member at Michigan State University and has more than 40 years of experience as a Michigan Licensed HVAC contractor. Metoyer has designed this session so that participants will learn many of the conditions that can shorten the life of a heat exchanger and what dangers can be presented to the public.
RSES added monthly webinars free of charge for members in early 2013.
Much like the RSES Journal, periodic technical bulletins (SAM chapters) and their respective online archives, the monthly webinars are geared to help you with technical information you can apply on the job.
Presented by some of the industry’s most sought-after technical experts, sessions range from basic to advanced levels on topics spanning the HVACR spectrum. Participation in live webinars earns CEHs automatically, and all webinars are recorded for future viewing.
Typically held the 4th Wednesday of each month, RSES members should watch their email for registration information!
