Do you remember the basics of how the refrigeration cycle works? The RSES Manufacturer Webinar Series continues with an exploration of some important basic concepts, and how to apply it to your real-world system designs brought to you by Embraco.
Specifically, this webinar will cover some basic definitions (refrigeration/refrigerants/heat), what makes a good refrigerant and how to read a PH diagram. The refrigeration cycle will be covered, along with the four major components of a refrigeration system to understand the impact they have on system performance and efficiency as they are adjusted. This impact will be seen on the PH diagram, which will also demonstrate why natural refrigerants (R-290 and R-600a) are good options to use in system design.
Your presenter John Prall has more than 10 years of experience in the refrigeration market. Currently, he is a Technical Support Engineer for Embraco North America, helping customers apply compressors and solve technical issues. Prall has past experience in roles ranging from product development engineering to product management.
RSES webinar sponsors provide the means to offer these sessions at no cost to RSES Members, and may contact you after the event to share information regarding related products and/or services.
RSES added monthly webinars free of charge for members in early 2013.
