The timing of our conference couldn’t be better, coinciding with Albuquerque’s world-renowned International Balloon Fiesta taking place on Oct. 6-14. Literally hundreds of balloons will be taking flight from Balloon Fiesta Park this year – a site you won’t want to miss – along with our exciting educational event! TUESDAY, OCTOBER 9

SOLD OUT! Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta Ascension with Hot Air Balloon Ride - $400

Mass Ascension, a launch of all the participating balloons, has been a feature of Balloon Fiesta since its earliest days and is a spectacular display of sound and color. Lift off with Rainbow Ryders and hundreds of colorful hot air balloons into the beautiful skies of Albuquerque! Rainbow Ryders is the only company authorized to give balloon rides from Balloon Fiesta Park for the world’s largest balloon event. Please visit the official website for schedule. Includes transportation, balloon ride, admission to Fiesta Park and Chaser’s Club. If the flight is canceled due to inclement weather and cannot be rescheduled, you will be refunded $265. Few spectacles on earth rival the Mass Ascension of the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta, as upwards of 500 balloons lift off from Balloon Fiesta Park to drift in the crisp high-desert air of New Mexico. Enjoy exploring Fiesta Park and chatting with the pilots and crews as they prepare the balloons for flight. You will have access to the Chaser’s Club offering seating in a private outdoor patio located next to the launch field. Hot breakfast buffet and beverages are included. Includes transportation, admission to Fiesta Park and Chaser’s Club. Fee is non-refundable.

Take a ride on the Sandia Peak Aerial Tramway, one of the world’s longest free-span cable tramways! The 2.7-mile ride to the top will take you to an elevation of 10,378 feet above sea level where you will marvel at the thousands of miles of breathtaking scenery and panoramic views. Finish your day with a visit to Old Town for time on your own or walking tour of the historic Plaza area. Founded in 1610, Santa Fe is the heart and soul of the Southwest. Take a guided walking tour, visiting the historic Plaza, St. Francis Cathedral (photo), the Loretto Chapel, with its famous “miraculous” staircase, and the San Miguel Mission. Then, explore the area on your own or indulge in a southwestern shopping spree. Nearly all the city’s main cultural attractions are within walking distance of the Plaza, including the Georgia O’Keeffe Museum and Palace of the Governors. Bring the hit TV show Breaking Bad to life on this three-hour film location tour where you'll get to ride in the Breaking Bad RV just like the one on the show. Re-live the sights and sounds in this interactive, climate-controlled studio film location and see where the characters Jesse and Walter lived, worked and ate. In addition to visiting many locations from the show, you may also see other film locations from movies filmed in Albuquerque, such as Terminator, Avengers, Transformers, Independence Day 2, Maze Runner 2 and more. Few spectacles on earth rival the Ascension of the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta, as upwards of 500 balloons lift off from Balloon Fiesta Park to drift in the crisp high-desert air of New Mexico! This will include transportation and admission to the park where you can walk around, eat and shop the artisan tents or hang near the field to see the balloons at night.
 

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 13

RSES is the leading education, training and certification preparation organization for HVACR professionals. Select training programs offer Continuing Education Units (CEUs) and NATE Continuing Education Hours (CEHs).

In addition, RSES offers industry certification preparation materials for refrigerant handling (EPA Section 608), R-410A and North American Technician Excellence (NATE) examinations.

RSES’ monthly magazine, RSES Journal, serves HVAC contractors, service technicians, students, operations/maintenance managers, engineers and technicians who work in the residential, light commercial, commercial and institutional markets on air conditioning, warm-air heating, refrigeration, ventilation, electrical, ice machines, chillers, hydronic heating, piping, refrigeration control and energy management, building automation, indoor air quality and duct cleaning, and sheet metal fabrication equipment and/or systems.
