Hotel Information

By booking your hotel stay at the conference hotel, you help RSES keep the costs of the conference registrations down. Shuttle buses will be scheduled during the day to take attendees from the hotel to the convention center. Scheduled times will be posted once they become available. Parking at the hotel is free. RSES has reserved a block of guest rooms at the following conference hotel:

Reservations: To ensure the group rate, conference guests are required to either call or make reservations online using the link below. Remember, mention group name “RSES 2018 Annual Conference” and group code “RSE” when making reservations by phone.

To book your room online:

  2. Input the dates requested for reservation and click “Book”
  3. The group rate will appear on the next page


Check-in time is 3:00 p.m. Check-out time is 12:00 p.m.

The room block will be released at 12 midnight on Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2018.

Guest Rooms:

Guest room rates are:
      King/Double: $124/night, plus applicable taxes*

*Hotel taxes and fees are currently 13.5%.

Parking: Currently, the Crowne Plaza Albuquerque offers complimentary self-parking. If valet is used, there will be a charge of $5.00 per day plus tax for in/out privileges.

Amenities/Services: Located on a 14 acre oasis in the University/Midtown district, the Crowne Plaza Albuquerque features spacious guest rooms with breathtaking views of the high desert landscape of mesas, volcanoes and Sandia Mountains in the city.

Rooms are equipped with complimentary high-speed internet, a large workspace and balconies with sliding glass doors to appreciate the views.

Onsite dining includes the AAA 4 Diamond award-winning Ranchers Club of New Mexico, the Stonestreet Grille, which offers a less formal breakfast, lunch and dinner, and the Cantina Bar, which offers lighter fare and beverages.

Two fitness rooms are available as well as an indoor pool, hot tub and dry sauna and a season outdoor pool and hot tub.

Transportation Information

The hotel is about a 15 minute ride from the airport and there are a few options to get to the hotel and back to the airport at the end of the show. More information will be posted here as it becomes available. Click here for a list of ground transport options available from the airport. If you are renting a car, parking at the hotel is free.

Car Service:  CLS Transport can be scheduled ahead of time if needed. A group rate is currently being looked at, but has not yet been determined. Cost as of now is about $110-$150   

Taxi: Several taxi options are available from the airport to the hotel and typically run $20-$25.

Uber/Lyft: This option will typically run $7-$10 and is an easy way to procure transport throughout the city. A phone app is required to utilize this option (either Uber or Lyft).

Convention Center Parking: The Albuquerque Convention Center parking garage is located off of Broadway and MLK Jr. It is $6 a day with no in-and-out privileges. There is a height restriction of 7’. This restriction is the same in the Civic Plaza parking garage located underneath the Civic Plaza. For oversized vehicle parking, there are larger open lots in the area, i.e., at 2nd Street and Tijeras just south of the Convention Center.
