Minutes: The Austin Chapter RSES met December 10, 2015, 6:30PM at the Logan’s Roadhouse Restaurant (LaFrontera), 2702 Parker Rd., Round Rock, TX. 78681 for Christmas get together for food and fellowship. There were 15 Members and Guests present. At 8:00 PM President James W. Poole, CM called the meeting to order and presented the 2016 Slate of Chapter Officers. Ron Solomon, CM motion to accept the slate of Officers as presented. Second by Brian Rabel. Motion carried by voice vote. The 2016 Austin Chapter RSES Officers are as follows, President—Ron Solomon, CM; Vice-President—James W. Poole, CM; Secretary—Stanley Domel, CMS; Treasurer—Brian Rabel, and were sworn in by Ron’s wife. With no further business President Ron Solomon, CM adjourned the meeting at 8:15PM.

In addition, RSES offers industry certification preparation materials for refrigerant handling (EPA Section 608), R-410A and North American Technician Excellence (NATE) examinations.

RSES’ monthly magazine, RSES Journal, serves HVAC contractors, service technicians, students, operations/maintenance managers, engineers and technicians who work in the residential, light commercial, commercial and institutional markets on air conditioning, warm-air heating, refrigeration, ventilation, electrical, ice machines, chillers, hydronic heating, piping, refrigeration control and energy management, building automation, indoor air quality and duct cleaning, and sheet metal fabrication equipment and/or systems.
