Treasures report
Regrettably the organization was the victim of fraud. Someone pretending to be a board member requested a check stating the check was approved by the board. The check was sent and cashed before a stop payment could be placed on the issued check. This resulted in a loss of $ 1670.00 A second check was issued but a stop payment was placed before it was cashed. We are working with the Minneapolis police dept. We are also working with the bank to get the account number changed.

The board agrees that from now on no check shall be written from the account unless detailed receipt is presented, approved by the board at an UMRA event, and the check written at said event.

Interest Earned 4/7/17 to 4/7/18 $ 2.06
