The February 23, 2022 SW. VA. Chapter meeting was held at Virginia Highlands Community College (VHCC) in Abingdon, VA., starting at 5:32 PM. Prior to the meeting chapter officers confirmed the current bank statement for the chapter account. The guest speaker was Mr. Paul Amos with The Joyce Agency. The training topic was TracPipe CSST certification. Mr. Joyce held 2 training sessions. He held a training session with the day class HVACR students at VHCC starting at 1:00 PM, and held a 2nd session with SW. VA. Chapter members and the evening HVACR students starting at 5:32 PM. There were 38 attendees total at both training sessions. He covered in depth the installation of TracPipe CSST, explaining the sizing, installation requirements, operating pressures, and provided numerous tips for successful installation and code compliance. Upon successful completion of the test, attendees received TracPipe CounterStrike PS-II certification cards.
