October 20th, 2011

RSES is now offering three new heating training guides written by James Ries and Richard Bruno, and illustrated by James Ries. These guides benefit everyone including a new student or a classroom trainer, to a seasoned heating professional.

“We are excited to add such informative heating guides to our inventory! The books detail important heating components by guiding you through procedures, using intuitive illustrations and easy-to-understand language,” explains RSES Educational & Examining Board Chairman, Roger M. Hensley, CMS. “Especially with the heating season almost upon us, these guides will benefit anybody working with residential oil or gas systems.”

The new heating titles include:

“The Complete Guide to Residential Gas Heating,” written Rich Bruno and illustrated by James Ries. This training manual combines codes, piping, wiring and venting into one cover.

“The Complete Guide to Residential Oil Heating,” written and illustrated by James Ries. This manual is a concise, step-by-step guide from individual components through advanced troubleshooting of oil heating systems. This training guide will take readers from basic component descriptions, their integration within the system, their function, possible problems with corresponding solutions, and finally maintenance, repair, and replacement.

“The Complete Guide to Residential Oil Burners,” written and illustrated by James Ries. This training manual is a highly detailed training guide used in the home heating industry for training maintenance technicians. It is based on five of the most popular modern oil burner technologies including the: Beckett AFII and AFG; Riello R35 and F40; and the Carlin EZ-Pro.

All of the new heating guides are packed with detailed illustrations, diagrams, demonstrations and quiz questions to clarify key concepts and procedures.
