December 12th, 2017

Rolling Meadows, Ill. (Oct. 16, 2017) – RSES has added two new products to its online store, including HVACR 401 eResource on Heat Pumps for instructors, and the Second Edition of the DeWalt HVAC Code Reference.

HVACR 401 eResource on Heat Pumps for instructors focuses on the major trends in the heat pump market where there is a demand for more computer usage in what is traditionally a low-tech market. Today more sophisticated electronic heat pump applications are driving the need for training and retraining. The publication features PowerPoint® slides, an image library, and an electronic test bank.

The DeWalt HVAC Code Reference will help HVAC professionals get their next HVAC job done right the first time. This is a must-have reference guide from an industry leader in contractor resources. The publication uses the 2015 International Mechanical Code® and the 2015 International Residential Code® as the foundation for providing readers with the knowledge and skills needed to install or modify HVAC equipment successfully. It illustrates hundreds of the most common code requirements, violations and installation concerns, providing the critical information needed to get the job done right. Topics covered include: materials and duct construction; chimneys; vents; grease duct systems; propane tanks; load calculations; exhaust systems; fireplaces; and much more.
