December 20th, 2017

Rolling Meadows, Ill. (Dec. 14, 2017) – RSES is pleased to announce the addition of four additional HVACR training books to its online store. All four titles are published by ESCO Group and add to the ever-expanding library of materials RSES offers to help industry professionals excel at their jobs.

Carbon Monoxide a Clear and Present Danger is designed to provide an understanding of the hazards inherent in carbon monoxide generation, testing procedures, an overview of combustion analysis and the relation of building pressures to carbon monoxide generation. The manual is broken into three sections: Carbon Monoxide (CO), Combustion and Pressure Measurements.

The System Performance manual helps technicians understand the proper techniques and procedures used to verify and optimize performance of HVAC systems. The manual is broken into four parts covering: airflow, critical charging procedures, psychrometrics, and combustion efficiency.

Combustion Analysis & Fuel Efficiency addresses carbon dioxide formation and release, carbon monoxide generation, thermal heat transfer, and flame temperature. It additionally provides steps and procedures to increase efficiency and reduce emissions. Readers should expect to increase their knowledge of the combustion process and combustion control.

Lastly, Solar Hot Water Fundamentals is a comprehensive training manual that contains everything an HVACR tech needs to know to become a professional solar designer and installer. Topics include site analysis, design and installation of: drainback systems, closed loop glycol systems, thermosiphon systems, pool heating systems, solar hot water components, solar thermal loops, lad integration and combi-systems, roofing plumbing tanks and heat exchangers, pumps and fluids, collector mounting, system controls, performance and monitoring, troubleshooting and maintenance, codes and regulations, safety, and it contains hundreds of custom system schematics and full-color images.
