RSES Announces Board Slate for 2018 Annual Business Meeting

Rolling Meadows, Ill. (July 13, 2018) – At the 2018 summer board meeting, the RSES Board of Directors approved the following Educational and Examining Board Chairman and slate of Directors for two-year terms (2018–2020) in the following geographical areas:

  • Regions 1 & 3: Ratib E. Baker, CMS, RCT;
  • Regions 4 & 6: Raymond T. Clary, CMS;
  • Regions 5 & 7: Steve Wright Sr., CMS, RCT;
  • Regions 9, 12 & 13: Michael Ralston, CM;
  • Region 10: Jerry Clark, CM; and
  • Educational and Examining Board Chairman: Roger M. Hensley, CMS, RCT.

This slate was initially published on July 12, 2018. Per the RSES Bylaws, voting members have 30 days to submit additional nominations to this slate. Such nominations must be supported by a written petition containing signatures of at least 10% of the voting members in the relevant regions.

In addition, the RSES Executive Board was approved to remain as it stands for one more term, including the following individuals and positions:

  • International President Nick Reggi, CMS, RCT;
  • International Vice President Steve Wright Jr., CMS, RCT;
  • International Secretary and Treasurer Mike Ralston, CM; and
  • International Sergeant at Arms Raymond T. Clary, CMS.

Per Article VI, Section 8, Part b of the RSES Bylaws, Officers, except the Chair of the Educational and Examining Board, may not serve more than two (2) consecutive terms in the same office. In the interest of maintaining the forward momentum RSES has had this past year, Board members agreed to maintain status quo for one more year to keep projects on track.
