RSES Announces Slate of Directors for the 2021 Annual Business Meeting

The RSES Board of Directors held the first in-person Board meeting Aug. 6–7, 2021 since the pandemic started. At that meeting, the slate of Directors up for re-election for a two-year terms (2021–2023) in the following geographical areas include:

  • Region 2 – Art Miller, CMS, RCT
  • Regions 8 & 11 – Brynn Cooksey, CMS, RCT
  • Regions 14 & 15 – Vacancy
  • Regions 16 & 17 – Gary Struhar, CMS, RCT

 

Per the RSES Bylaws, voting members have 30 days to submit additional nominations to this slate. Such nominations must be supported by a written petition containing signatures of at least 10% of the voting members in the relevant regions. Due to the continued uncertainly that the pandemic is creating, the RSES Annual Business Meeting will take place virtually on Saturday, Oct. 9, 2021 from 2–4 p.m. Central. More information about the structure of the event will be sent subsequently in a separate notification.

Select training programs offer Continuing Education Units (CEUs) and NATE Continuing Education Hours (CEHs).

In addition, RSES offers industry certification preparation materials for refrigerant handling (EPA Section 608), R-410A and North American Technician Excellence (NATE) examinations.

RSES’ monthly magazine, RSES Journal, serves HVAC contractors, service technicians, students, operations/maintenance managers, engineers and technicians who work in the residential, light commercial, commercial and institutional markets on air conditioning, warm-air heating, refrigeration, ventilation, electrical, ice machines, chillers, hydronic heating, piping, refrigeration control and energy management, building automation, indoor air quality and duct cleaning, and sheet metal fabrication equipment and/or systems.
