RSES Announces Rate Increase on Training/Testing Products

Arlington Heights, Ill. (Jan. 10, 2022) – RSES has increased the price of all paper-based products sold to its Members, Chapters and the public. This increase is a direct result of the consistent paper and postage increases incurred in 2021 due, in part, to wild fires that directly affected the paper supply industry, as well fuel and postage increases and labor shortages at many of the plants.

An $8 increase is going into effect immediately on the price of all of the printed versions of RSES and some of the third-party books. The rates for the eBooks currently offered will not change.

The price for all of the exams will also be increased by $5 per exam for the same reasons listed above. Furthermore, RSES Chapters currently receiving final exams at a special Member/Chapter rate will see their rates increasing as well. A separate announcement on this will be sent direct to Chapter contacts.

RSES is planning to launch all of its available exams in the first quarter of this year. Since the online portal uses neither paper nor postage, the exam rates will be less than the paper versions and the exam results will be nearly instantaneous. Details will follow on this process/portal.

If you have any questions, please contact RSES at 800-297-5660 or general@rses.org.
