MSAC Hotline: Hot Surface Igniter
I have a furnace with a hot surface igniter that will not ignite. One thing led to another and we ended up changing the pressure switch and inducer motor. When the unit comes on it starts the blower wheel, then goes to the inducer. But when the inducer starts, nothing else happens. The surface igniter doesn’t glow either. I don’t know what else to do.
