Lori Kasallis

Lori has been with RSES/RSES Journal since April 2007. As the Publisher/Editor, she is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the monthly magazine, which includes working with RSES Members, sister associations and manufacturers to procure features, then working with the Technical Review Committee to ensure their technical accuracy; managing deadlines and the overall production of the publication; attending/reporting on industry trade shows and RSES Chapter/Association events; and working with the rest of the RSES Headquarters Staff to help grow/retain RSES Members and RSES Journal subscribers. She also is the Secretary for the Manufacturers' Service Advisory Council and manages the questions/answers featured monthly in MSAC Hotline. Kasallis works with the MSAC Chairman to maintain communication among the Council Members, while attempting to recruit new Members, ensuring every area of the HVACR industry can be covered.

Kasallis began her career in B2B publishing in 2000 with an engineering/mining trade publication. After working a brief stint with a printing trade publication, she began working with residential and commercial construction publication. After a two-year sabbatical from the industry, she returned to her love of publishing through RSES Journal.

Although Kasallis has been writing/publishing her personal writing for more than 20 years, she has worked professionally as a writer/editor in some capacity since she graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 1999.
