Author of RSES Journal's popular monthly Troubleshooting column, Jim Johnson is the Founder/DIrector of Training for Technical Training Associates, which boasts, "Skill Development through Specialized Training" since 1985. Johnson offers a host of products—many of which can be found at RSES' Online Store—including: supplemental training materials for HVACR curriculum; customer service and sales skills programs; and items for service managers, product manufactuers and publishers.
Johnson has more than three decades of work experience in building maintenance, plumbing, electrical, and HVACR maintenance and troubleshooting and is an experienced workshop leader. He holds multiple technician certifications in green technology, and is certified as an energy auditor, and in HVAC system air balancing. His specialty is adult education and he consistently receives high marks from workshop attendees for his ability to simplify concepts and explain troubleshooting and service procedures.
