About RSES Training
RSES publishes various comprehensive industry training and reference materials in addition to delivering superior educational programs designed to benefit HVACR professionals at every stage of their careers – from those new to the HVACR world, to industry veterans wanting to improve their skills and knowledge. RSES training covers all aspects of the HVACR industry, beginning with simple theory and extending to complex troubleshooting.
Training can be conducted conveniently online through RSES eLearning, or through local Chapters, company training facilities, schools, and self-study.
Overview of Heating Courses
The heating training series provides participants with instruction in various types of heating systems that are commonly used today. Beginning with heating fundamentals students will be introduced to the concepts of heat, heating principles, heat flow and air distribution, and heat load calculations. Independent Units of study provide detailed instruction of electric heating, gas heating, oil heating, hot-water heating, and steam heating systems.

CEUs and NATE CEHs
Many of the RSES courses are North American Technician Excellence (NATE) recognized, providing technicians with the opportunity to earn continuing education hours in addition to continuing education units. Please review the manual descriptions for further details on CEUs and CEHs.
College Credit from Pennsylvania College of Technology
RSES has entered into an articulation agreement with The Pennsylvania State University affiliate, Pennsylvania College of Technology, based in Williamsport, Pa., that provides college credit for students who have completed RSES training courses.
Under the agreement, Pennsylvania College of Technology will grant 53 credits for successful completion of specified RSES training courses toward a Bachelor of Science major in Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning Design Technology from its School of Construction & Design Technologies. In addition, RSES offers industry certification preparation materials for refrigerant handling (EPA Section 608), R-410A and North American Technician Excellence (NATE) examinations.
RSES’ monthly magazine, RSES Journal, serves HVAC contractors, service technicians, students, operations/maintenance managers, engineers and technicians who work in the residential, light commercial, commercial and institutional markets on air conditioning, warm-air heating, refrigeration, ventilation, electrical, ice machines, chillers, hydronic heating, piping, refrigeration control and energy management, building automation, indoor air quality and duct cleaning, and sheet metal fabrication equipment and/or systems.
